A vacant position created as the result of continued annual growth within Power Control Ltd, an independently owned company, incorporated in 1994 and recognised market leader in solid state and modular Uninterruptible Power Supplies.

RELATIONSHIPS

Responsible to: Service Manager

The Role and Responsibilities

  • Give excellent customer service at all times
  • Answer incoming calls for the service team and monitor and action emails
  • To liaise with the sales/contracts teams, field engineers, technical team and the Service Coordinator on a daily basis to ensure a best in class service is offered
  • Make accurate notes of all fault calls and log on Sage accordingly
  • Liaise with the technical team and make them aware of any faults logged
  • To check contracts for SLA and support cover on contracts
  • Send final job reports to the customer then file accordingly
  • Order and manage PPE and Uniform for all employees
  • Keep accurate log of all calibrated items and send tools for calibration
  • Book all health and safety training and e-learning
  • Process engineer’s vetting forms
  • Booking engineers and sub-contractor service visits and liaising between engineers and customers to agree times and dates
  • Looking after the maintenance of the engineer’s vehicles and dealing with any penalty charge notices
  • Booking parking (Ringo and Pay by phone)
  • Book accommodation, flights and ferry’s for staff
  • Processing and auditing of engineer timesheets and mileage

Personal attributes

  • Attention to detail
  • To be able to prioritise work load
  • Excellent telephone manner with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • To be able to work as a team with little supervision at times
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages

Desirable

  • Previous experience an administrative and scheduling role
  • Knowledge of Sage

HOURS

37.5 hours per week between 8:30 am till 5:00 pm

REMUNERATION

£competitive plus Westfield Health Cashback scheme.
