Starting off on the right foot

To welcome employees to the Power Control family all new starters are given a formal and in-depth induction to the business and colleagues. This includes an overview of the company’s performance standards, office systems, health and safety procedures and general culture of the work place. Full product and service training is also given.

We actively encourage our employees to undertake any training relevant to their role, which could be directly related to technology and product advancements or general skills training.
The company also delivers apprenticeship schemes in association with Sheffield and Chesterfield colleges. We welcome between 18-25 year olds and promote local community work placements and training. All our apprenticeship programmes are carried out on site where apprentices work through a bespoke engineers training programme.
Demonstrating our commitment to professional development further, we are a fully accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) member. Categorised under the engineering sector, we offer a range of structured training courses and workshops centred around all technical aspects of the power protection landscape.

Safety first

Our engineers are cleared to the highest security levels including local authority, DBS and Military checks and are fully equipped with state of the art test equipment, tools and on-board spares.
