Thirteen willing volunteers from Sheffield based power protection specialist, Power Control will be raising money for Ashgate Hospice by taking part in the Peak District Endurerdash on 3rd September.

Set amongst steep valleys, lakes and rivers, the Endurerdash combines gruelling physical challenges with stunning scenery. Power Control’s ‘Power Rangers’ will have to overcome an ‘epic set of obstacles’, which will include trudging through mud, climbing walls and swimming through rivers.

Power Control’s managing director Mark Trolley commented: “This is a great opportunity to improve fitness levels, get healthier and have fun outside of the office as a team whilst raising money for a good cause”

“We wanted to raise some money for a local charity that is very close to my heart – Ashgate Hospice. The hospice provides outstanding care and support for patients with life limiting illnesses and their families, unfortunately and sadly this is something all of us are affected by at some point in our lives. I am thrilled that the team at Power Control is raising money for this great cause.

“The Endurerdash will not only be a test of fitness but will also be a chance for us to showcase our fantastic teamwork. Power Control is a privately owned independent business and we are proud to have such an incredibly close workforce. We have already started our team training and I am confident that we will be ready to smash the event in a couple of weeks’ time”
