In normal mode the Borri B8031FXS is a true online double conversion UPS power supply. Alternatively it can be configured and programmed to run as a frequency converter or in SOL as a line interactive system, which further reduces energy costs.

Its advanced design means that the B8031FXS UPS range achieves high efficiency without compromising load protection. Investment at component level in the design of B8031FXS UPS series means that it performs with overall efficiency levels in excess of 95%. This impressive operational rating provides the user with true efficiency without compromising on resilience.
To achieve ultimate efficiency, B8031FXS UPS series also features a smart online mode (SOL). Perfect for achieving a reduced data centre PUE, the SOL function continually monitors the input characteristics of the supply and the UPS switches to inverter within 2mS should the control system experience any anomalies.
For additional redundancy or capacity up to 8 units can be connected in parallel giving a total scalable power output of 320kVA. Intelligent design of the system connections allow for easy installation and future additions without the need for a power down.
Designed with three individual power modules with access from the front for installation and maintenance, B8031FXS UPS units can be installed close to walls and adjacent equipment providing a significant reduction in floor space. As all critical components are accessible from the front of the unit, regular maintenance can be completed with ease. For increased flexibility, the B8031FXS UPS modules can easily be removed for delivery and positioning. The modules can then be re-mounted during the commissioning.
