UPS Maintenance Contracts

Performing regular maintenance checks allows our engineers to spot any system irregularities that may lead to larger, more costly repairs at a later date. Equipment failures therefore become less likely, helping to protect both the safety of personnel on-site and the performance and security of any connected equipment.
What is Covered Under a Preventative UPS Maintenance Agreement?
A Preventative UPS Maintenance Agreement will involve the annual inspection, testing and cleaning of all components of the UPS system.
This will include:
- Checking for any signs of physical damage or loose connections
- Running multiple tests to evaluate the UPS’s overall performance levels
- Checking the health, capacity and charging rate of all batteries together with other consumables; such as capacitors and fans
- Cleaning all internal components including fans and filters to ensure they are free from dust and other contaminants
- Conducting environmental tests to check for levels of temperature and humidity
- Performing software and hardware updates as applicable
- Producing a comprehensive report of all findings with recommendations for any remedial works required
All on-site servicing and maintenance will be conducted by a member of our nationwide team of highly trained engineers.
Reactive UPS Maintenance Agreements
Power Control also offer a more flexible option for those companies that feel their business needs do not warrant a regular servicing arrangement but still wish to have a level of security in place in case of system failures.
The Reactive UPS Maintenance Service Agreement allows companies to simply react and fix issues as and when they arise, removing the need for any regular on-site maintenance. Having this style of agreement in place, ensures that Power Control will still be able to provide emergency assistance in the event of critical equipment failure and assist with general repairs or breakdowns as they occur.

Bronze, Silver, Gold & Tailored UPS Maintenance Packages
Our wide range of critical power maintenance and service packages for UPS, IPS (Isolated Power Supply), diesel generators and other ancillary equipment provide comprehensive backup power protection for your business.
All UPS and IPS service contracts include one preventative maintenance visit per annum, level one spares* on a fault per fault basis and all travel and labour costs - so there’s no need to worry about raising paperwork in an emergency.
All generator service contracts include two preventative maintenance visits per annum and include consumables.
