This year’s Data Centre World Conference & Expo saw leading Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) specialists, Power Control Ltd (PCL) put on a powerful display of its new brand image and wide ranging power protection solutions.

Formerly Borri Ltd, PCL used its presence at Data Centre World to showcase its fresh brand to hundreds of IT and data centre professionals as well as the wider public. Taking up a prime position at the heart of the exhibition, PCL’s striking stand could be seen from all corners of the hall. The vibrancy of the new company’s brand, along with its impressive product showcase captured the attention of all visitors.

Although the company name has changed, its commitment to not only Borri three-phase UPS technology but also its own single phase equipment and enhanced focus on the company’s technical service solutions was clearly evident throughout the two-day event.

Visitors to PCL’s stand were welcomed by the company’s illustrious hospitality and given the opportunity to learn firsthand about the company’s extensive array of UPS technology and latest power protection projects.

On show were two Borri UPS systems. A resilient transformer based B9000FXS and a high-efficiency transformer free B8000FXS. Whilst both physically showcased the superior quality of Borri UPS technology, PCL’s team were on hand to demonstrate how these can be positioned within data centre infrastructures.

With the event being co-located with Cloud Expo Europe, PCL also featured a series of single-phase UPS systems, which are more suited to smaller structures. The company’s line interactive B60 and B200 UPS along with its rack-mountable, online double conversion UPS solutions attracted a fresh crowd of potential customers looking for versatile, entry-level backup power systems.

The powerful culmination of PCL’s strong brand, industry-leading UPS solutions and first-class hospitality has resulted in PCL walking away with a very healthy outlook for the remainder of 2015.

Commenting on the success of the event and the company’s re-brand, PCL’s director, Mark Trolley said:

“The footfall to the stand far exceeded our expectations and we have a seen a definite marked increase both in terms of numbers and quality of visitors from previous years.  I am in no doubt our sales will imitate our success”.
